Hailey Newell will join the Broncos as a redshirt freshman after sitting out her first year with the Seawolves, and TCU transfer
Bryn Shankle will join the Broncos as a sophomore after appearing in two matches for the Horned Frogs' NCAA tournament team last season. Both players will look to make an immediate impact on the team next season.

Newell joins the Broncos after redshirting last year at Sonoma State, a program which decided to cut their entire athletics program at the end of last season.
She was a three year varsity player at Valley Christian High School earning a 2023 Second Team All-League Selection. She helped lead her team to a 2023 NorCal State Championship and California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Division 1 State Championship her senior year. Newell was among the Top 10 in assist/set (13.25) ratio in the 2023 CIF D1 Championship, and was selected as a 2023-24 National Christian School Athletic Association (NCSAA) First-Team All-American.
Bryn Shankle l Middle Blocker l Manhattan Beach, Calif. l TCU
Shankle was a member of TCU's first 20-win season since 2011 and third straight NCAA Tournament team. She made her collegiate debut against Texas A&M Commerce, tallying her first career block (9/12/24) , and saw action in TCU's win over Prairie View (9/12/24).
In high school, Shankle was an instrumental part of Mira Costa High School's team, helping guide the Mustangs to two California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Southern Section runner-up appearances. She totaled 212 kills and 162 blocks in her high school career, and earned 2023 All-Bay League honors with a selection to the 2023 All-Area team. She played in 113 sets and tallied 102 blocks (0.90 per set) as a senior. Shankle also amassed 133 total kills and averaged 1.20 kills per set at a .330 clip.
