SAN BRUNO, Calif.- Santa Clara women's volleyball sophomore setter
Macy Hinshaw was named the West Coast Conference (WCC) Setter of the Week Monday for the second straight week, as announced by the conference.
"Macy did a great job this week keeping our offense balanced and being an offensive threat. She was huge in our 2nd set win over Fresno State which really set the tone for the win," Santa Clara head coach
Erin Lindsey said.
Hinshaw had yet another impressive three game stretch for the Broncos this week helping lead them to a 2-1 record with victories over Bakersfield and Fresno State. She tallied 98 assists over the three game stretch, averaging 9.8 assists per set. She also added 21 digs respectively, averaging 2.1 digs per set.

Hinshaw also added a career high five kills against Fresno State and had 10 kills over three games, averaging one kill per set. Hinshaw has started every game this year for the Broncos, leading the team with four double doubles including five games with 40 or more assists.

The Broncos will continue their non-conference slate tomorrow, traveling to South Bay rival San Jose State. First serve is set for 6 p.m.
