SAN BRUNO, Calif. — The Santa Clara University baseball team collected 11 West Coast Conference All-Academic awards on Monday, including placing three student-athletes on the first team for the second consecutive year.

Ferroggiaro, a senior economics major with a 3.874 GPA, was named WCC Player of the Week on Feb. 16 and ranks seventh in the WCC with 47 runs scored and tied for eighth with 33 walks. He has scored multiple runs in 16 games, including a career-high four on two occasions, and has drawn multiple walks six times. He also has nine multi-hit games this season and enters the week on a 12-game reached-base streak that began April 26. During that stretch, Ferroggiaro has scored 19 runs, collected 10 RBIs, hit three home runs and seven doubles, and posted four multi-hit games.

Garcia added first-team recognition with a 3.984 GPA as a senior communication major. He is tied for eighth in the WCC with 16 doubles and ranks second on Santa Clara with 19 extra-base hits, also totaling two triples and one home run. Garcia has scored 19 runs, driven in 13, drawn 12 walks and recorded seven multi-hit games across 47 games played. Defensively, he has committed only one error in 41 total chances playing multiple positions in the field.

Luetzow, a senior finance major with a 3.941 GPA, joined Ferroggiaro and Garcia on the first team. Santa Clara's everyday catcher is slashing .336/.425/.508 across 38 games, with 43 hits, 25 RBIs, 10 doubles and four home runs. Luetzow reached base safely in 16 consecutive games from March 24 through April 19 and put together a seven-game hitting streak from April 2-12, going 11 for 23 (.478) against San Diego, Clemson and Saint Mary's. He has 11 multi-hit games, including six three-hit performances.

Bayles received honorable mention recognition while carrying a 3.563 GPA as a junior communication major. He ranks second in the WCC with 102 strikeouts and second with a 2.45 ERA, and has totaled 11 games with at least six strikeouts. That includes a season- and career-high-matching 12 on May 14 versus Pepperdine. Bayles has not allowed a run in four starts and has allowed only one earned run in four others. He was named WCC Pitcher of the Week on Feb. 16, March 9 and Monday, and was also named a semifinalist for the College Baseball Foundation's National Pitcher of the Year award. Bayles was placed on the WCC Preseason Team, named the WCC Preseason Pitcher of the Year by D1Baseball.com, selected to the Perfect Game WCC Preseason Team and ranked the No. 29 starting pitcher in the nation by D1Baseball.com through 12 weeks.

Braga, a sophomore communication major with a 3.312 GPA, also landed honorable mention honors. He is tied for fourth on the team with 16 appearances, all out of the bullpen, and has not allowed an earned run in nine of them. Braga has recorded at least one strikeout in nine games and owns 13 strikeouts in 19 1/3 innings of work. He has a 4.66 ERA and an 0-1 record.

Gillmore has been Santa Clara's No. 2 weekend starter throughout the season, going 4-4 with a 3.84 ERA and 59 strikeouts while earning honorable mention all-academic recognition. A junior communication major with a 3.601 GPA, Gillmore has set a new career high in strikeouts twice this season, first with seven versus UNLV on Feb. 28, then with eight on the road at Seattle on May 9. He has recorded at least four strikeouts in nine starts and has allowed zero or one earned run in seven of his 14 starts.

Johnson, a graduate student in the sports business master's program with a 3.762 GPA, was another all-academic honorable mention honoree. He ranks second on the team with 19 appearances, all in relief, and has struck out 35 batters in 27 innings. Johnson has recorded multiple strikeouts in 11 appearances and has not allowed an earned run in 13 games, including a streak of nine consecutive games to start the year. He opened the season with a 0.55 ERA through his first 12 outings and has a 2-1 record, 3.00 ERA and one save.

Lambert was recognized as an honorable mention all-academic selection after posting a 3.582 GPA as a junior communication major. He is batting .259 in 38 games, including 22 starts, with six doubles and four triples, the latter tied for first in the WCC. Lambert had a career-high four hits versus Saint Mary's on April 12 and has five multi-hit games, nine RBIs and four stolen bases in 2026. He is also a two-time WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll honoree, earning Silver honors in 2024-25 and Bronze honors in 2023-24.

Lanz brought a 3.518 GPA as a senior finance major to his all-academic honorable mention selection. On the mound, he has a 4.18 ERA and 32 strikeouts in 34 innings across 16 appearances, including one start. Lanz is currently on a 14-inning streak without allowing an earned run, spanning six appearances, that has lowered his season ERA by more than three runs. He has recorded multiple strikeouts in 10 consecutive appearances after opening the season with only one such outing in his first six games. Lanz tied a career high with six strikeouts versus Saint Mary's on April 12 and was named to the NCBWA "Stopper of the Year" Award Preseason Watch List.

Rayment, a sophomore economics major with a 3.210 GPA, earned honorable mention all-academic recognition while serving as Santa Clara's everyday center fielder. He leads the WCC with four triples and has 11 extra-base hits, including six doubles, four triples and one home run, while batting .258. Rayment is tied for fourth in the WCC with 12 stolen bases, hit an inside-the-park home run at Gonzaga on May 2 and has eight multi-hit games on the year. He has also scored 18 runs, driven in eight RBIs and drawn 11 walks while playing perfect defense in center field with a 1.000 fielding percentage in 80 total chances.

Ross rounded out Santa Clara's honorees as a junior marketing major with a 3.493 GPA. An all-academic honorable mention selection, he leads the Broncos with 20 extra-base hits, including 14 doubles, four home runs and two triples, while batting .294. Ross also owns a team-leading 35 RBIs, along with 22 runs scored and five stolen bases. He has 12 multi-hit games, including four three-hit performances, and 10 multi-RBI games, tied for the team lead. Ross drove in a career-high four runs versus California on Feb. 16.

The Broncos open play at the 2026 WCC Tournament at 2 p.m. Wednesday versus third-seeded San Francisco in Scottsdale, Ariz.
