AS A FRESHMAN IN 2025: Named WCC Pitcher of the Year, WCC Freshman of the Year, All-WCC First Team and WCC All-Freshman Team ...  first Bronco to be named either WCC Pitcher of the Year and Freshman of the Year ... led the WCC in with a 2.43 ERA and finished with an 8-11 overall record ... finished 76th nationally in ERA and sixth best among all freshmen ... dominated league play going 5-1 and getting a win in each of the five WCC series including the winning pitcher of record in the WCC Championship clinching victory over Oregon State (May 10) ... in WCC action, had a 0.77 ERA, allowing six runs (five earned) over 45 1/3 innings while appearing in 10 of the 15 conference games, tossing three shutouts against San Diego, Pacific and Saint Mary's ... held opponents to an .182 batting average in league play ... had a stretch of allowing just one run in 32 2/3 innings against WCC competition ... named WCC Pitcher of the Week (April 21) ... struck out a season-high eight batters against Saint Louis (Feb. 7) ... picked up first career save against Hawai'i (Feb. 8) ... won first career game against Cal Poly (Feb. 14), throwing three scoreless innings in relief ... pitched a season-high nine innings against Saint Mary's (April 18) in a two-hit shutout effort ... threw a season-high 135 pitches against Pacific (DH1, April 12) ... got the starting nod against Arizona in the Tucson Regional opener of the NCAA Tournament (May 17).  

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2024 graduate of Los Alamitos High School in Los Alamitos, California ... ranked No. 33 among the class of 2024 pitchers by Extra Innings Softball ... helped lead the Griffins to the 2023 Sunset League Championship and was a three-time National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-American Scholar-Athlete.

CLUB: Posted a 17-5 record in 2022-23 with a 1.49 ERA and struck out 154 in 131 2/3 innings ... a year earlier, she went 13-6, struck out 118 batters in 118 innings and had a 1.25 ERA. 

GET TO KNOW CARI: Father, Brent, played baseball at Saddleback College (1989-1990) and San Diego State (1991-1992) ... served as a volunteer youth softball coach.
