Also staying in-state are Hayden and Verwers. Hayden, coming from De La Salle High School, finished ranked as the 39th player from California in the 2024 class. His accolades include being the 2023 AJGA Uni-Fab Industries Preview at Bay Champion and runner-up at both the 2023 FCG Western States Players Cup and JGANC Halloween Jr. Championship.

Verwers completed his time at the Classic Academy in Carlsbad, Calif., as a two-time Toyota Tour Cup Champion, with nine other top-10 finishes in TTC play. He was a former member of the Danish National Team and named as the 10th best in Junior Gold Scoreboard Rankings for the Class of 2024.

Nielsen joins the Broncos from Massachusetts, where he was ranked 3rd in the state for the Class of 2024. Coming out of IMG Academy, he was able to record some impressive finishes, including finishing in fifth place at the IMG Junior Tour Championship. Adding onto that, he had a fifth-place finish at the AJGA Chicopee, was the JJGT Tournament of Champions Champion, second place at the IMG JGI College Preview, and fourth place at the IV Copa Valla De Mexico.

Head Coach Andrew Larkin shares his excitement, saying, "I am excited to add all four members of our Class of 2024. This class brings Santa Clara four accomplished players that fit the culture we have built on campus. All four will have the chance to impact our roster earlier in their careers at Santa Clara and bring big upside to be some of the best players in the country as their careers progress. This is a great group of new Broncos, and we couldn't be more excited to welcome them to the family."
