NOTRE DAME, Ind. - Santa Clara men's golf put a cap on their time at the Fighting Irish Classic hosted by Notre Dame, as they battled through some tough conditions in Tuesday's final round to finish in 15th place.
J.P. Odland was the Broncos' top individual, finishing in 23rd at 4-over 214.
ROUND HIGHLIGHTS:
- The rough conditions took its toll on each of the 16-team field with no team able to shoot par or better. UCLA came to closest at 1-over, which propelled them to the top of the leader board past North Carolina, who was 7-over for the day. The Bruins won with a 54-hole total of 7-under 833.
- Calder Overfelt had the best round of the day for the Broncos at 4-over 74 to finish tied for 46th while Odland shot 6-over 76 to slip out of the top-20.
- Emil Nielsen was also 6-over the day and finished tied for 75th at 18-over 228 followed by Matt Robles (19-over 229) and Tucker Sweeney (23-over 233).
