HAYWARD, Calif. – Santa Clara women's track & field raced at the West Coast Invite Friday. Noelani Krauss and Irene Nagasaka finished in the top two spots in the 800m to lead the way. Results can be found here.
 
"First outdoor meet in the books, and as expected I think we look solid, but also think we have a lot of growth to make and things to build on. Noah and Irene's 1 and 2 in the 800 specifically stood out. They cleared the field and ran pretty fast especially considering the windy conditions during the 800. We know Kinsey is so close to clicking. She's in good fitness and close to putting it all together in racing. There's a lot of positives from all our freshmen outdoor debuts. They're all just getting started, and they're all working hard, they're all eager to get better, and they're working together as a team as well as I could hope. "
