BREMERTON, Wash. - Santa Clara women's golf saw a 10-stroke improvement on the second day of action at the 2024 WCC Women's Golf Championship, turning in an 8-over 296 at the par 72, 6,112-yard Gold Mountain Golf Course to hold tight at third place after 36 holes of action.
ROUND HIGHLIGHTS:
- Meva Schmit had the top round of the day for the Broncos with a 1-over 73 to climb to spots into a tie for fifth at 5-over 76-73--151.
- Inara Sharma shot a 2-over 74 to climb up into a tie with Audrey Brust (76-75) for eighth at 7-over 151.
- Patricia Garre Munoz had a four-stroke improvement with 2-over 74 of her own to finish the day tied for 13th at 8-over 152.
- Kelsey Kim rounded out the Broncos lineup in 15th at 10-over 77-77--154.
- Lauren Gomez (Pepperdine) continues to hold the individual lead at 6-under 70-68--138 while Pepperdine also holds the team lead at 1-over 577.
