SACRAMENTO - Santa Clara women's golf sophomore
Chloe Lam finished in a tie for 13th at the Causeway Invitational after carding a three-day total of 4-over 220. The Broncos finished in eighth as a team following a 15-over 303 in Tuesday's final round to finish 35-over 899 in total.
ROUND HIGHLIGHTS:
- Rachael Wang, playing as an individual, had the best round of the day for the Broncos, shooting an even-par 72 that featured three birdies to finish in a tie for 19th at 6-over 222.
- Audrey Brust improved two strokes from yesterday's two rounds with a 1-over 73 to move up into a tie for 22nd at 7-over 223.
- Lam was 4-over 76 for the day after turning in consecutive 72s in the first two rounds on Monday. Her tie for 13th was her third top-20 finish of the season and seventh of her young career.
- Kelsey Kim tied for 33rd at 9-over 225) while Amy Im (234) and Proud Sriwongngam (237) took 55th and 59th, respectively.
- Colorado held on for the wire-to-wire finish to take home the team trophy at even-par 864, finishing four strokes ahead of host-UC Davis (868).
- San Francisco's Eva Pett tied for the lowest round of the day (-3) to win medalist honors by four strokes at 7-under 209.
