ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Santa Clara men's golf finished the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate seventh out of 17 teams after turning in a three-day total of 13-over 287-288-302--877. Alvaro Muller and
Calder Overfelt both tied for 19th at 2-over 218.
ROUND HIGHLIGHTS:
- Muller and Overfelt both shot a 2-over 74 on Saturday to climb five spots into a tie for 19th.
- J.P. Odland also shot a 74 in the final round to climb up to a tie for 24th at 3-over 73-72-74--219.
- Emil Nielsen finished in a tie for 44th at 7-over 223 while Cameron Kaiser tied for 75th at 13-over 229.
- Colorado came from behind on the final day to overtake New Mexico for the team title with a 12-under 852.
- New Mexico's Alvaro Portillo took home medalist honors at 8-under 208.
