BERKELEY and MORAGA, Calif. – The Santa Clara women's tennis doubles team of Tian Yu Dong and Ashley Katz won their opening round match of the main draw  of the ITA Regional Championships.  It was part of four total victories the Broncos had on Friday.  

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Dong and Katz beat the UC Davis tandem of Isabella Bringas/Kaia Wolfe 8-3 to advance to the round of 32.  
• Madhu Satishbabu, Anna Rahman and Ashley Katz won their qualifying round singles matches before falling in the next round.
