SAN DIEGO – Valentin Faure's run at the Intercollegiate Championships came to an end in the semifinals, falling to USC's Niels Hoffman in three sets on Sunday.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Faure had won four straight matches to reach the semifinals before dropping to Hoffman 6-4, 6-7 (4-7), 6-3.

DAVIS, Calif. – Luca Lemaitre advanced to the flight A finals at the UC Davis Aggies Invitational before falling to the host school's Lucas Bollinger on Sunday at the Marya Welch Tennis Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Lemaitre reached the flight A finals with two straight matches but was unable to overcome Bollinger and lost 6-3, 6-4.
