LIHU'E, Hawaii - Santa Clara women's golf senior
Audrey Brust shot 5-under 67 in the second round of the 2025 Rainbow Wahine Invitational, tying her own school record for the lowest round in program history and helping the Broncos push ahead of Baylor for the top spot in the team standings with only 18 holes remaining. Santa Clara was 3-over 291 for the day and are 5-under 571 through 36 holes at the par 72 Ocean Course at Hokuala.
Brust is tied with teammate
Kelsey Kim for fourth place individually at 4-under 140. Kim was 1-under 71 in Tuesday's round - her second-consecutive round under par and team-leading seventh on the season.
ROUND HIGHLIGHTS:
- Santa Clara (571) leads Baylor (574) by three strokes after turning in the second-lowest round of the day on Tuesday. Missouri (575) was the only team to shoot better, finishing at even par. The Broncos, Bears and Tigers are the only three teams currently under par through 36 holes.
- Brust and Kim are just one stroke behind a three-way tie for the individual lead.
- Brust had seven total birdies on the day, rolling in three-straight on Nos. 4-6 and again on Nos. 13-15.
- Kim turned in a pair of birdies to offset a lone bogey, and was perfect on the back nine.
- Proud Sriwongngam and Alexa Pineda are tied for 21st at 2-over 146.
