SAN JOSE, Calif. – Santa Clara women's tennis wrapped up their fall slate with two singles victories on the final day of the San Jose State Hidden Dual on Sunday. The Broncos played the singles players from San Jose State and the doubles teams from Nevada.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The hidden dual format includes singles against one team and doubles against a different team each day during the three day tournament. The teams will lineup and play similar to a team dual match like in the spring season but there is no team scoring, only individual wins and losses.
- Jamie Pope picked up her second singles win of the tournament, beating Katarina Brajovic 6-2, 6-4.
- Ashley Katz finished the tournament on a high note, winning her first singles match over the three days, downing Tara Mihaljevic 6-3, 6-2.
