  • Washington State (16-11, 10-7) took a 5-3 lead to open set two, but Santa Clara answered with four straight points capped off by another ace from Reilly. The Cougars evened it up at 10, but three straight made it 13-10, and later 17-13 after a kill from Cate Shanahan. Washington State again tied it at 17, but Shanahan again capped a four point Bronco rally, and a kill from Selin Aslayan finished off set two, 25-22.
  • Santa Clara (16-12, 11-6) took a 3-1 lead in set three, and later 16-10 after a Shanahan kill. An ace from Lexi Trapani made it 22-15, and Aslayan finished it off, 25-17.
