FRESNO, Calif. - Santa Clara men's golf picked up their second-straight third-place finish on Tuesday, putting a bow on their time at the Sunnyside CC with a 7-under 277 in the final round of the Nick Watney Invitational to finish the event 17-under 835. A trio of Broncos finished inside the top 20 with Matt Robles continuing his torrid start to his collegiate career with a tie for fourth - his fourth top-10 finish of the year. 

ROUND HIGHLIGHTS:

• Robles shot 4-under 67 in the final round, tallying six birdies and finishing the event 8-under 67-71-67--205. His tie for fourth is the top finish of his young career and already his third inside the top five. 

• Alvaro Muller and Emil Nielsen both tied for 18th at 2-under 211. Muller was 1-under for the day with five birdies to counter out a pair of bogeys and one double bogey. 

• Calder Overfelt finished just outside of the top-20, turning in an even par 70-69-74-213 to finish in sole possession of 23rd. 

• Freshman Jack Hayden, playing as an individual, finished a shot back from Overfelt in 24th place at 1-over 214 while J.P. Odland and Jolo Magcalayo (Ind.) finished in 42nd and 64th, respectively. Odland had the second-lowest round of the day for the Broncos, turning in a 2-under 69 - his seventh round in the 60s on the season. 

• Fresno State and San Diego shared the team title at 23-under 839 while Pacific's Carlos Astiazaran won medalist honors at 10-under 203.
