CHULA VISTA, Calif. – Freshman Matt Robles secured his fourth-consecutive top-20 finish and sophomore J.P. Odland tallied his best finish of the spring as the duo closed out their time at the Lamkin Invitational tied for 17^th at 4-under 212. Santa Clara men's golf finished the event tied for sixth at 11-under 853.

ROUND HIGHLIGHTS:

• Robles, who entered the Lamkin with three-straight finishes inside the top eight, notched yet another impressive finish to an already outstanding freshman campaign. The Downey, Calif. product shot even par in Tuesday's final round to finish 4-under 70-70-72—212.
• Odland had his best turnout since a seventh-place finish at the Alister MacKenzie Invitational in October. He started the tournament red-hot with a 5-under 67 in the opening round, but shot one under the minimum in the second round and closed out the tournament with a 2-over 74 to tie Robles for 17^th at 4-under.
• Emil Nielsen held steady at 37^th after shooting 1-over 73 in the final round that featured four birdie putts but was offset by three bogeys and a double-bogey.
• Alvaro Muller and Calder Overfelt tied for 62nd at 5-over 221.
• No. 25 San Diego State shot 20-under on Tuesday to run away from No. 33 Colorado and San Diego for the team title, finishing 43-under 821. The Aztecs' Justin Hastings won medalist honors after shooting a tournament-record 16-under 200 for a four-stroke victory.
