SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara women's golf is set to host the third-annual Silicon Valley Showcase this March 24-25. The event will once again be held at the beautiful Green Hills Country Club in Millbrae, Calif.
Tickets are complementary, but are required for entry to either of the two days of action. Fans can reserve them
here.
Nine teams are set to compete in the year's event. In addition to the host-Broncos, West Coast Conference foes Pepperdine and San Francisco will participate alongside Long Beach State, UC Irvine, Wyoming, Nevada, Kansas State and Boise State. The tournament format will remain the same as previous seasons with the first two rounds (36 holes) to be played on Monday, March 24, and the remaining 18 holes of the final round to be played on Tuesday, March 25.
ABOUT THE SILICON VALLEY SHOWCASE
In its third year of existence, the Silicon Valley Showcase attracts some of the top collegiate women's golf teams and individuals from the West Coast, and has become one of the top annual collegiate women's golf tournaments in the Bay Area. ABOUT THE COURSE
Located in Millbrae, Calif., Green Hills was designed and built by world-famous golf course architect, Dr. Alister MacKenzie, and features breathtaking views of the sun-warmed hills between the Pacific Ocean and the San Francisco Bay. Green Hills has served as a U.S. Open Qualfiying site, hosted the MacKenzie Cup as well as other USGA and NCAA events.
