SANTA CRUZ, Calif.- Santa Clara women's beach volleyball won both matches Saturday with 5-0 victories over Portland and Pacific to win the silver bracket of the West Coast Challenge at Santa Cruz Main Beach. The Broncos finished the weekend 17-3 overall in pairs and 10-0 today with dominating victories over the Pilots and Tigers.

The Broncos won their first matchup Saturday over Portland 5-0. Noelle Niederman/Holland Jackson took the 22-20, 21-17 victory in the No. 1 spot, while Teagan Wilson/Sammy Wood also won their match 23-21, 21-18. Ciara Cantlen/Alexandra Urbina closed out the victory with a 21-10, 21-12 victory, while Callie Loughrn and Ava Stoddard won their matchup 21-15, 21-13. The Broncos won their last matchup in straight sets as well with Kawena Chillingworth and Hayley Hahn 21-7, 21-12.

The Broncos swept Pacific for the second straight time this tournament, winning each game in straight sets. Noelle Niederman and Holland Jackson won their matchup 21-19, 21-10, followed by Teagan Wilson/Sammy Wood winning the No. 2 spot 21-11, 21-2. Alexandra Urbina and Ciara Cantlen won in the No. 3 spot with a 21-9, 21-12 victory and Ava Stoddard/Kawena Chillingworth defeated the Tigers 21-17, 21-12. Finally, Anna Balsdon and Alex Franklin won 21-9, 21-8.
