SANTA CLARA, Calif.- Santa Clara women's beach volleyball won a tough back-and-forth battle on Wednesday 3-2 to the San Jose State Spartans at the Santa Clara Beach Volleyball Courts. The Broncos won the first two matchups at the No. 4 spot with
Ava Stoddard and
Callie Loughran 21-15, 21-18, and in the No.1 spot with
Holland Jackson and
Noelle Niederman 17-21, 21-19, and 15-11, before falling in the next two matches setting up a winner-take-all matchup at the No. 3 spot.
Alexandra Urbina and
Ciara Cantlen fell in the first set, but rallied to win the next two sets defeating the Spartans 22-24, 21-15, 15-6.
