NORMAN, Okla. - Santa Clara men's golfers Kevin Hollomon, J.P. Odland, Calder Overfelt and Matt Robles are four of the 649 NCAA D1 golfers honored by the Golf Coaches Association of America as 2025-26 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars. The award is handed out annually for student-athlete's work both on the pitch and in the classroom. 

To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their associate's degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA. In addition, they must participate in 50 percent of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0 in NCAA Division I, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.

This is the seventh-consecutive year that Santa Clara has had multiple student-athletes represented on the distinguished list, and the sixth-straight season with at least three or more honorees. Both Odland and Overfelt also earned the award last season. 

Santa Clara was also one of a record 331 schools that earned a PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award for posting a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
