SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara senior Addie Whitehouse was named to Top Drawer Soccer's Team of the Week after helping the Broncos post a pair of shutouts last week at UTSA and at t-No. 18 Texas State.
Whitehouse had an assist on the lone goal against the Roadrunners on Thursday and helped the defense shutout at UTSA offense that entered the match scoring 2.3 goals per game and had been shutout only one other time.
On Sunday, Whitehouse again helped lead the defense as the Broncos shutout the Bobcats who were tied for 12th nationally with 3.1 goals per game and had only been shutout once as well.
The Broncos begin West Coast Conference play Saturday at San Diego.
