AS A SENIOR IN 2026: Named WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention, CSC Academic All-District ... recipient of the Santa Clara Athletics Carroll Williams Award, presented annually to Bronco seniors who best define what it means to be a Santa Clara student-athlete ... finished atop the Santa Clara record book with a .992 career fielding percentage (only six errors with 714 putouts and 33 assists) ... played in 43 games, started in 40 ... appeared in primarily at first base ... second on the team with three home runs and third in RBIs with 21 ... named WCC Co-Player of the Week (March 30) ... belted a season-high two home runs and drove in six runs against LMU (March 28) ... had a .993 fielding percentage committing two errors in 305 chances.
AS A JUNIOR IN 2025: Named WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention and NFCA Scholar-Athlete ... played in 29 games, started in 22 ... made 21 starts at first base and one as the designated player ... hit for a .261 average (18-for-69) with four doubles, a triple and 10 runs driven in ... had a .311 on-base percentage and .348 slugging percentage ... recorded four multi-hit and multi-RBI games each ... had a season-high three hits against Northern Colorado (March 22) ... drove in a season-high three runs against Portland State (March 15) ... recorded a .989 fielding percentage in 189 chances. Â
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2024: WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention and NFCA Scholar-Athlete ... recipient of the Santa Clara Athletics Inclusive Excellence Award, presented annually to student-athletes who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to the athletic department's goal of advancing excellence through diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging ... played in 45 games and started in 40 ... 34 of the starts came at first base and six as the designated player ... recorded a slash line of .237/.276/.398 ... finished third on the team in RBIs with 23 ... had 11 extra-base hits including seven doubles and four home runs ... finished third on the team in home runs ... had eight multi-hit and multi-RBI games ... drove in a season-high five runs against Pacific (May 4) in the series clinching 12-0 victory ... scored a season-high two runs in three games ... committed just two errors in 253 chances for a .992 fielding percentage.Â
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2023: NFCA Scholar-Athlete ... played in eight games and started in two ... both starts came as the designated player ... went 1-for-8 on the season with an RBI ... first career RBI came against UTEP (Feb. 18) ... first career hit was against St. Bonaventure (March 4) ... did not commit an error in six chances playing first base.
HIGH SCHOOL: A graduate of Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Eastvale, California ... two-time letterwinner in both softball and basketball ... helped lead the softball team to the CIF Finals during junior season ... posted a slash line of .451/.481/.930 with eight home runs and 36 RBIs in 2021 while striking out just twice in 77 plate appearances ... on the hardwood, played on the team that advanced to the state semifinals during freshman year and to the quarterfinals the following season.  Â
GET TO KNOW LEIORA: Majoring in public health science ... aspires to be an athletic trainer ... has played softball since the age of five ... played basketball competitively from age seven to 17 ... earned an All-Academic accolade in high school with a 4.3 GPA along with being an athlete ... in her free time, enjoys playing video games (Minecraft, Fortnite, and Sims4) while partaking in cosmetic activities, such as doing her hair, nails, and self care ... loves to help younger kids when it comes to academics/athletics and wants to set an example as a role model. Â
