"I'm very proud of these guys. We had a really tough year with illness and injuries to key guys. There was a real possibility that we could slip to 5th if we competed like we had been during the season. But these young guys learned from earlier races and really got it done today. This was the first WCC meet for 8 of the 10 guys who competed today, and 6 are freshman eligibility wise. The future is bright.," head coach
Felipe Montoro said.
