SAN FRANCISCO - Battling through the elements, Santa Clara men's golf finds themselves in 15th out of 31 teams after two rounds of play at the Goodwin held at TPC Harding Park. The Broncos shot an 11-over 291 on Friday and are 20-over 289-291--580 overall. Rough playing conditions have taken their toil on the entire field with no team currently shooting better than 3-over par after two rounds of action.
ROUND HIGHLIGHTS:
- Nolan Forsman had another consistent day with his second-straight 2-over 72. He is currently tied for 44th at 4-over 72-72--144.
- Jeffrey Kwak had the low round of the day for the Broncos with a 1-over 71 that shot him up 41 spots in the standings into a tie for 68th at 6-over 75-71--146.
- Calder Overfelt and J.P. Odland have shot an identical 7-over 73-74--147 to tie for 77th while Muzzy Donohue is a stroke back at 8-over 71-77--148.
- Utah leads the field at 3-over 563 while Georgia's Ben Van Wyk holds the individual lead at 4-under 69-67--136.
