SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Santa Clara women's soccer landed seven players on the
All-West Coast Conference Teams.
Mailin Orozco was named to the Second Team with Izzy DeBuyl,
Kat Jordan,
Leah O'Brien,
Kennedy Schoennauer, and
Addie Whitehouse earning honorable mention. DeBuyl and
Hildi Benediktsdottir were named All-Freshman.

Orozco led the team with six goals and 14 points while appearing in all 19 matches and starting 18. She scored one game-winner and added two assists. Orozco, who missed last season with injury, was on the All-Freshman team in 2023.

DeBuyl played in 18 matches and made 16 starts. Her 1,489 minutes led the team as she helped anchor the back line. This is her first award after redshirting the 2024 season.

Jordan appeared in 16 matches this season while starting 15. She finished the season with one goal and two assists from the midfield. Last season Jordan was the co-WCC Midfielder of the Year and All-WCC honorable mention.

O'Brien played in all 19 matches and made eight starts as a senior. She set career highs with four goals, four assists, and 12 points. The four assists were tied for the team lead and her goals and points were third. Three of her goals were game winners.

Schoennauer played in and started 18 matches while finishing second on the team with five goals and 13 points. She scored three game winners, tied for more on the team. Schoennauer was named First Team All-WCC a season ago.

Whitehouse started all 16 matches she appeared in and scored one goal to go with three assists. Her goal was a game winner. Whitehouse was on the honorable mention list last season.

Benediktsdottir played in all 19 matches as a true freshman and started 16 times. She scored one goal and added two assists.
