MORAGA, Calif.- Santa Clara women's beach volleyball suffered a tough West Coast Conference defeat against Saint Mary's by a score of 4-1 on Friday. The Broncos No. 2 pair of Noelle Niederman and Holland Jackson got the only victory of the day in two sets, as the other pairs fell in two set sweeps.

The Broncos fell short in their West Coast Conference Opener, falling to Saint Mary's 1-4. Noelle Niederman and Holland Jackson had the only victory of the day 21-18, and 21-16, while all the other Broncos pairs fell in two sets.
