BERKELEY, Calif. – Santa Clara women's track & field finished its first outdoor competition of the season Saturday at the Berkeley Opener. Full results can be found here.
 
"This was a great start to outdoor season. We just wanted to hone in on creating our own energy and emphasis on being comfortable with being uncomfortable in a race setting, and we did a great job of that. When you do that good things come. Milaina's 3k puts her fourth all time at SCU, which is nice, and that set the tone for what I thought was a day of good competitive racing," head coach Pete Cushman said.
