Santa Clara Baseball Alum, Efrain Manzo '24, recently signed a professional contract with the Glacier Range Raiders, associated with the Pioneer League which is a partner with the MLB.

Manzo left his mark in Santa Clara, being one of the best power hitters in program history. He totaled 31 home runs and 75 extra-base hits in his four years with the team. In his junior year, Manzo had 18 home runs, tying for second in program history. As a senior, he was a commanding offensive force, leading the team in hits (58), RBIs (46), doubles (13), triples (3), home runs (11), total bases (110), walks (31) and sacrifice flies(3). Throughout his career, Manzo appeared in 157 games with 140 starts. 

During his time as a Bronco he earned multiple awards: 2024 Preseason All-WCC Team, 2023 All-WCC Honorable Mention, and 2023 WCC All-Tournament Team. He was also rewarded as WCC Player of the Week (March 13, 2023) for his incredible series against Villanova where he went 7-for-10 with four doubles, a home run, four RBI, and three runs scored. That week, Manzo led the Broncos to a win at No. 2 Stanford and a sweep of Villanova in 2023.

The Glacier Range Riders' season opens May 20th.
