SAN BRUNO Calif- The Santa Clara women's beach volleyball team had six players recognized Wednesday with the 2025 All-West Coast Conference awards. Freshmen
Sadie Snipes and
Ava Stoddard, along with sophomore
Alexandra Urbina were selected to the All-WCC Second Team, while Snipes was also selected to the All-Freshman Team along with
Ciara Cantlen,
Kawena Chillingworth, and
Callie Loughran.

SADIE SNIPES
Snipes put together a stellar freshman season for the Broncos compiling a 9-13 record playing in 22-of-36 duals this season at the No. 1 and No. 2 spots. She went 3-3 in the WCC Championship with her partner
Sammy Wood, defeating USF twice, and Saint Mary's, helping the Broncos to a runner-up finish in the conference, their best in program history.

AVA STODDARD
Stoddard played in 35-of-36 matches for the Broncos this season at the No. 4 and No. 5 spots. She compiled a 17-18 record, including a 3-2 record at the WCC Championships with her partner
Callie Loughran. Her best win of the season arguably came in the semifinals of the WCC tournament where she and Loughran defeated a Pepperdine team receiving votes in the AVCA National Poll 21-12, 21-8, helping the Broncos move on to their first-ever WCC Championship game appearance.

ALEXANDRA URBINA
Urbina is the lone repeat from last season's WCC awards, after earning WCC-All Freshman team honors last season. She played in all 36 duals for the Broncos going 20-16 overall in duals at the number 1, 2, and 3 spots this season. Urbina put together an outstanding 4-1 record in conference play this season, and was was instrumental in the Broncos first win over a ranked opponent in program history defeating #17 Washington in straight sets with her partner
Ciara Cantlen. Urbina was also selected to the WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention honors.

CIARA CANTLEN
Cantlen impressed in her first season as a Bronco playing in 35-of-36 matches, compiling a record of 20-15 in duals at the No. 3 and No. 4 spots in the lineup. She went 4-1 in conference play, and helped lead the Broncos to a 3-2 victory over #17 Washington with her partner,
Alexandra Urbina, for the Broncos first win over a ranked opponent in program history. Cantlen, along with Urbina, proved to be the Broncos most consistent pairing this season going 14-9 overall including a 4-2 mark in the WCC Championship, helping lead the Broncos to a second place finish in the conference, their best finish in program history.

KAWENA CHILLINGWORTH
Chillingworth played in 31-of-36 matches for the Broncos this season at the No. 4 and No. 5 spots. She put together a 13-18 record including a 4-0 record in conference play. Her best weekend came at the West Coast Challenge where her duo went 4-0, defeating the University of San Francisco (21-12, 21-12), University of Portland (21-7, 21-12), and twice defeated University of Pacific (21-9, 21-8) and (21-17 and 21-12). She went 3-3 at the WCC Championship with her partner
Teagan Wilson with victories over USF twice and Pepperdine.

CALLIE LOUGHRAN
Loughran played in 25-of-36 matches this season compiling a 16-9 record at the No. 3, 4 and 5 pots this season. She went 2-2 in WCC play including a 4-2 mark in the WCC Championship at the No. 5 spot with her partner
Ava Stoddard. Loughran was also a huge part of the Broncos first win over a ranked opponent in program history against #17 Washington, where she and her partner
Teagan Wilson defeated the Huskies 21-18, 23-21 at the No. 4 spot.

LMU swept all of the major conference awards with the exception being Co-Freshman of the Year where Tanon Rosenthal shared the honor with Pepperdine's Emma Eden. LMU Head Coach John Mayer took home the WCC Coach of the Year award, while senior Isabelle Reffel and sophomore Maggie Rabitsch were named the WCC Pair of the Year, and junior Chloe Hooker earned the WCC Defensive Player of the Year honors.
