SACRAMENTO, Calif.- Santa Clara women's beach volleyball dropped two matches on the final day of the Sac Beach Invite in Sacramento on Saturday. The Broncos fell to Saint Mary's 4-1 before dropping a close contest to UC Davis 2-3.

The Broncos had a tough loss in their first matchup of the day against Saint Mary's. After close losses in the first four pairings,
Kawena Chillingworth and
Callie Loughran came away with the lone victory of the duel with a 19-21, 21-15, and 15-13 thriller over the Gaels.
