Women's Soccer Brings On Another Transfer

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's soccer continued to add to its 2026 roster with the signing of transfer Mia Erba. Erba spent the last three seasons at Oregon State. She joins a group of five signees and one other transfer.

Erba was named All-WCC honorable mention last season with the Beavers after she started 18 matches and scored one goal with one assist. She also earned CSC Academic All-District and All-WCC Academic honorable mention honors as a junior.
 
During her sophomore campaign, Erba started every game for Oregon State and played all but seven minutes during the season. She was named All-WCC Academic honorable mention for her work in the classroom.
 
As a freshman, she appeared in 16 matches and made 11 starts while posting one assist.
 
Erba played club for MVLA where her team was Northwest League Champions in 2023 and reached the ECNL Round of 16.
 
At Leigh High School, Erba helped her team win the BVAL in 2022 and 2023. They were also CCS Open Division quarterfinalists in 2023, CCS Open Division semifinalists in 2022, and CIF D2 champions in 2022. Individually, she was named First Team All-League in 2022.
 
In the classroom, Erba earned Golden State Seal Merit Diploma, President's Award for Education Excellence, Scholar Athlete of the Year, and was named to the Scholar Athlete Honor Roll at Lehigh High School.

"It's great ot add three-year starter to our program. She is a hard-working player that is really coachable and covers a lot of ground. She's going to make an impact on both sides of the ball," Santa Clara head coach Jerry Smith said.
