SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Santa Clara women's soccer senior goalkeeper Marlee Nicolos has been named the West Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.
 
Nicolos made nine saves at Portland in a 1-0 win for the Broncos Sunday to close out the regular season. It was her seventh solo shutout of the year and lowered her GAA to 0.55 for the season. She now has a .843 save percentage.
 
Nicolos was also the conference's Defensive Player of the Week on October 9 after making six saves in a 4-0 win at Saint Mary's.
 
The Broncos will host Arizona State as a seven seed in the first round of the NCAA Tournament Saturday at 1 p.m.
