Men's Soccer Foreign Tour in England: June 28

Wednesday's highlights included a visit to The Etihad Stadium, home of Manchester City, and getting to train at their indoor facility.

Day 3 (June 28) - There is Treble in the City

MANCHESTER, England - Whether you like them or not, Manchester City have set the bar in football. Winning the treble (FA Cup, Champions League and Premier League) is quite a feat.

It was a visit to The Etihad Stadium and adjacent training ground on our third day and it did not disappoint. As the new kid in town they have redeveloped an old industrial area in town into a proper training facility and a proper stadium. We had the good fortune to train at their indoor facility before taking their tour. It is modern and speaks of the new age of football and it has proved successful.

After a trip to Nando's for dinner we turned in for the night. Tomorrow is Game Day 1.
