Albert Tassi was 5’9, 190 pound center who was known as the biggest little center in Santa Clara Football history. Tassi did not let his small structure get to him as he made up for it with his grit and IQ. He was mainstay of the line that was credited by other coaches withstanding blitzes like a stone wall. Tassi’s play inspired his team so much that he was voted captain senior year. After his collegiate career, Tassi coached both at Santa Clara and USF.
