Marshall Leahy was an All-Coast guard for the Santa Clara Broncos in the early 30’s. Leahey on the court was known to have great influence and was the team leader. For this reason he got voted captain his senior year. In 1930, he got to play for the YMI at the National A.A.U tournament because of his stellar season. In his senior year he accounted for 325 points. Leahy also pitched on the mound for the Bronco Baseball team. His leadership carried off the field as he was the senior president of the Student Congress.
