Bruce Hale was a 6’1” forward/guard who was a standout at Santa Clara. At SCU he was one of the top shooters on the team, yet was drafted and served in WWII. After WWII, he played professionally in the early start of the NBA for teams including the Indianapolis Jets, Fort Wayne Pistons, and Indianapolis Olympians. In his NBA career, he averaged 9.1 points per game. After his professional career, he held multiple coaching positions including with the University of Miami, the Oakland Oaks, and St. Mary's College of California.
