Ramona was a stellar guard for the Santa Clara Broncos. The Bay Area native came to Santa Clara from Lincoln High School. Ramona dominated the line on the football field. After graduation he played his rookie year with the New York Giants. Joe then served two years as an Officer in the United States Army. In 1997, Joe Ramona was inducted into the Santa Clara Hall of Fame for his contributions to Santa Clara’s Football program.
