James O’Rourke was a standout All-American outfielder for the Santa Clara Broncos. After playing for the broncos, he led the Brain Black Sox to the National Baseball Congress World Series championship, and was named MVP of the tournament. From his stellar play at only the age of 21, he was drafted by the Cardinals. After returning home he entered the investment business and later lived in Spokane, WA, where he owned O'Rourke Realty, a property investment company specializing in recreational developments.
