Edward Amaral was a standout football player for the Class of 1950. He was a natural born athlete on defense and offense where he constantly made opposing players look like they were still playing high school football. His presence on the field even earned him a Little-All American. Amaral’s talents didn't just restrict to the football field, as he had his poem Senior Year published in the National Poetry Association’s annual college publication.
