Robert Spence played first base for Santa Clara’s 1968 Baseball team. Spence was drafted by the Chicago White Sox’s after in the 4th round of the 1967 Amueuter Draft. Spence played 3 years in the MLB with the White Sox’s. He was inducted into Santa Clara’s Hall of Fame in 1982.
