During her four years at Santa Clara University, Bivens received a number of honors some of which include First Team All-West Region (1999), Second Team All-WCC (1999), Defensive MVP, Stanford Nike Classic (1999), MVP, the Duke adidas Invitational (1999). Bivens and teammates made four consecutive Final Four appearances and set an NCAA record for greatest goal differential in a season. Bivens went on to play for the Atlanta Beat of the WUSA. In 2003 she went to the FIFA Women’s World Cup Finals and during her career made 9 international Game Appearances.
