Ray Pesco was inducted into the Hall of Fame for his contributions to Santa Clara Men’s Basketball program. Pesco graduated from the University of Santa Clara in 1933 and returned in 1945 to take over the basketball program. He coached the Broncos for 5 years, and in his second season earned an impressive 21-4 winning record. Pesco was inducted into the Santa Clara Hall of Fame in 1972.
