Transferring from De Anza College in 1975, Cosbie quickly became Pat Malley’s starting tight end. He made 26 receptions for five touchdowns in his first season as a Bronco. Cosbie finished his Santa Clara career with 120 total receptions for 1,721 yards and ten touchdowns. After graduating in 1979, Cosbie was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the third round. During his ten year career, he was invited to three Pro-Bowls and played in two NFC Championship games.
