Guido Simoni was a phenomenal baseball player for the Broncos in the late 1920’s. Simoni was known to play multiple positions in the field, but stood out at pitcher. On the mound he was a strikeout machine, and once he got behind the plate he could make contact on most balls. His outstanding play caught the eye of MLB scouts and he was signed by the Seattle Indians.
