Santa Clara Athletics Hall of Fame
Eric Paulson was one of Santa Clara’s all-time scorers as it seemed like he could not miss. Paulson was voted team captain as a junior, where he led SCU to win the 1964 WCAC Holiday Tournament, in which he got awarded MVP of the tournament. Paulson was re-voted captain his senior year and averaged 13.3 points and 4.6 rebounds per game. This earned him a selection to the All-WCAC All-star team. Paulson was known for his outstanding leadership and always being the fastest man on the court even though he was recorded as a forward. Paulson is still in the record books as ranked #6 on all time scorers with 835 points.
