Mickey McDermott attended Santa Clara from 1960-1962 and played on the Broncos Baseball Team. He had a very successful collegiate career the culminated in a position as Co-Captian and CIBA First Team recognition. McDermott is famously known for an inside-the-park homerun against the Texas to secure a spot in the College World Series.
