Santa Clara Athletics Hall of Fame
Sam Sculli received his MBA from Santa Clara in 1997. He then went on to become one of the brightest and youngest assistant coaches on the West Coast. He spent 11 seasons on Dick Davey’s coaching staff at SCU and spent one year with head coach Kerry Keating before leaving after the 2007-08 season. Sculli’s duties as a coach focused primarily on developing the program’s defensive game plan and handling scouting, recruiting and player development. He spent four seasons at Santa Clara as a graduate assistant coach from 1994-1998. He then spent two seasons as an assistant at Portland State before returning to Santa Clara.
