Suzanne Meckenstock (Seandel) was a standout player for Women’s Basketball in the 1980s. She led the team in scoring and steals two years in a row. She also led the team in assists for one season. Meckenstock ranks in the top-20 in Bronco history for career points (1,144), scoring average (11.4), field goals (452), assists (291), and steals (141). Averaging 16.6 ppg and leading the team in steals, she earned a selection to the All-WCC First Team for the 1985-1986 season. Meckenstock was inducted into Santa Clara’s Hall of Fame in 1999.
