Weekes played goalkeeper for the Broncos from 1973-1976. He was then selected in the first round by the San Jose Earthquakes. After his playing career, the Middletown, California native returned to Santa Clara to coach the Broncos. Weekes was the National Marketing Director for adidas America and the United States Soccer Federation during the 1994 FIFA World Cup.
